Making Ready

Before the clock strikes

Dear Santa Client, to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved, please take a moment to review the following tips for a successful visit.
  1. Please have the area where Santa will be visiting well-lit. This helps Santa see and interact with everyone safely.
  2. If this is an outdoor visit, please ensure the walkway and entrance are clear and safe for Santa to navigate.
  3. Please inform Santa in advance of any pets that may be present during the visit so he can be prepared.
  4. Have your camera or phone ready to capture the magical moments! Santa is happy to pose for photos.
  5. If there are very young children or children who may be nervous, it helps to have a parent or trusted adult nearby for comfort.
  6. Please let Santa know in advance about any special requests, names, or details you’d like him to mention during the visit.
  7. Try to minimize background noise (TV, loud music) during Santa’s visit so the children can hear and interact clearly.
  8. If Santa is arriving in costume, please ensure children are in the room or area before Santa enters for the best surprise effect.
  9. Please have any gifts you’d like Santa to hand out pre-wrapped and clearly labeled. Provide them to Santa discreetly before the visit begins.
  10. Keep the visit area at a comfortable temperature — remember, Santa is wearing a full suit!
  11. If your event is at a business or public venue, please designate a contact person to greet Santa upon arrival and guide him to the right location.
  12. Please be mindful of the scheduled visit time. If you need to adjust, contact Santa as early as possible.
  13. Most importantly, relax and enjoy the magic! Santa is a professional and will make sure everyone has a wonderful time.

How I became Santa

It really happened in Stages: Stage One: My mother was a single mom raising two boys and we lived paycheck to paycheck but she would save up during the year and we would have a blowout Christmas. Decorating the tree, going to see all the lights, sing Christmas carols and of course the one present on Christmas eve and then see what Santa brought the next day. Stage 2: Mrs. Claus is also a RN and worked in a doctor's office. The office decided to have a float for a Christmas parade and needed a Santa. So, she calls me and asks if I would do it and I said yes. So, the first ever time I was Santa, and she was Mrs. Claus, I had what can be described as a velveteen red suit, a hat that was too big, a fake beard and mustache that constantly moved on my face and since they had no boots, I used my fire department boots. Mrs. Claus wore a Santa Hat and Christmas sweater and through the parade we went. Stage 3: The next year is when we found this was more than just doing something for the doctor's office, it was a calling. I was asked by a lady in one the fire departments to be a Santa for the local community center. So, Santa and Mrs. Claus show up for the first time to interact with the children, have a few pictures made and find out what was on the wish list. That was it, the moment you see the wonder in a child's eyes or make an adult return to their childhood for just a minute is all you need. It was this moment that we knew we needed to share our love of Christmas with all we could.

Fun fact: Mrs. Claus birthday is December 25th. She says that why I married her.

Kully W · Beach Session 2026
We just happened upon him (Santa) and Mrs. Claus going to our cars from the NB trolley ride Friday night 12/20 and that small interaction was my favorite for my four year old." "Even if our paths do not get to cross again this season, please know the small amount of time you took to speak to my 4 year old was the best Santa experience I’ve had in my over 30 years of Christmases! Thank you so much!
